We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.
Phinity operates entirely locally on your Mac. The app:
- Does not require user accounts or login
- Does not collect analytics or usage statistics
- Does not transmit data to external servers
- Does not track user behavior
- Does not use third-party analytics services
Data Storage
All app settings and preferences are stored locally on your device using macOS UserDefaults. This data never leaves your Mac and includes only:
- Timer duration preferences
- Display sleep preferences
- Disk sleep preferences
- AC power preferences
- Menu bar display settings
- Language preference (English or Vietnamese)
In-App Purchases
Phinity offers optional tip jar in-app purchases processed through Apple's StoreKit framework. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple, and we do not receive or store any payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs all payment processing.
Permissions
The app requests the following system permissions:
Required Permissions:
- Power Management: To prevent system and display sleep using IOKit Power Assertions API
- Network Access: Only for StoreKit in-app purchase functionality (no other network activity)
Optional Permissions:
- Accessibility: Only if you enable the keyboard lock feature. This permission allows temporary keyboard input blocking for cleaning purposes. This feature is opt-in and can be disabled at any time.
Third-Party Services
Phinity does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics tools.
Children's Privacy
Phinity does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for general productivity use and does not contain age-restricted content.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.

Your Rights
Since we do not collect or store any personal data, there is no data to access, modify, or delete. All app data is stored locally on your device and can be removed by uninstalling the app.
